How to Assign Districts in Mafia 3

Assigning districts in Mafia 3 will let them start generating revenue. It will also push the story forward, getting you closer to taking down the Marcano family. You can assign each district to one of your three underbosses – Vito, Burke or Cassandra. This will increase your standing with one, but may decrease it with the other two. In this guide, we’re going to show you how to assign districts in Mafia 3.

Mafia 3 Assign District

First things first. In order to assign it, you’ll have to conquer a district. To do this, you’ll have to attack rackets, destroy smuggling rings, kill enforcers and do all kinds of activities in the area. This will decrease the earnings of the boss currently controlling it, making him come out and face you. Once you’ve defeated them, the district will be yours. 

This is when you’ll either organize a meeting with your associates, or get a phone call, asking you who’s going to get the new area. The one who gets it is going to be happy, obviously, but the other two might hold it against you. If you don’t want to lose their support, you’re going to have to balance things out by having a near-equal spread of control between them.

We’re not sure whether you can reassign districts, so choose carefully. We haven’t tried it, but it might be possible at a later point – taking a district from one lieutenant and giving it to another. We recommend you act like it’s a final decision, because it most probably is.

Once the district is up and running, it’s going to start generating money for you – free money, at that. Make sure you collect racket money regularly, because there’s a cap – the pool won’t fill up after a certain point, and it’s going to block your progress. 

How to assign rackets in Mafia 3

Assigning rackets works pretty much the same like assigning districts. You need to capture a racket first. Once that is done, and the notifiction pops up that you’ve taken over, a menu will appear asking you to choose who’ll get to run it, with all the benefits listed.
