The latest entry in the World of New Bordeux videos deals exclusively with combat – all the ways Lincoln Clay can hurt and kill a man. It’s pretty brutal, so consider it not safe for work.
The story is framed as a congresional hearing, during which a man tells the tale of Lincoln Clay as a one man army. The officials are doubtful – how can one man cause so much carnage? The trailer then goes through all the different ways to dispose of another human being in the game.
To begin with, when you get close enough, you’ll get the chance to instantly deal with an enemy. These takedowns can be either non-lethal, when you choke them unconscious or knock them out, or lethal, where their necks pop and the insides of their skulls spray the walls. It can be pretty gruesome.
When it comes to dealing with people from a distance, you can either do it silently or loudly. If you’re going for the silent approach, it’s important to take your time and aim well. Every shot needs to count, and the only sound you’ll hear is the dull thud of a body hitting the ground.
If you’re going for the loud approach, your options start to broaden. You have sniper rifles, which are extremely deadly and efficient at pretty long ranges. There are grenade launchers, which can help you take out a car filled with reinforcements before they even hit the brakes. There’s a bunch of automatic and semi automatic rifles with varying accuracy. One thing’s for sure – we’ll be spoilt for choice.
